1542 is the year Francisco De Orellana, in search of gold and cinnamon, arrived at the mouth at the Amazon River basin. This is the region that the Chocolate Habanero pepper is believed to have it's origins. This dark brown habanero is the hottest of the family and also has a beautiful earthy flavor that matches perfectly with the heavy garlic and cumin foundation. 1542 is essentially a high heat taco sauce with and amazing texture and even better taste.
